Again I have a couple things not big enough to make a post out of, but still worth mentioning.
First: Improv Everywhere! These people like to do strange things just for fun. Here they performed an improvised musical at a food court. And here, they gave free tours of downtown New York – on rubber boats in a water fountain! You have to hand it to them.
On a deeper level: The world is changing! (All credit to Sleep Deprivation Ninja where I found this – check out his blog.) The thing that bothers me about that video though, is how they are either purposely changing facts to make things seem worse than they are, or they are dangerously stupid. Starting from 38 seconds into the video, it says: ”The 25% of India’s population with the highest IQ’s… …is GREATER that the total population of the United States.” No duh, people. Say, to make things simple, that India had 100 inhabitants and the US 24. The 25% of India’s population – that is, the 25 smartest people there – would be more than the total US population of 24. The point is, ANY quarter of India’s population is greater than the total population of the United States.
The last link is called: Everything’s amazing, nobody’s happy. See for yourself.
